Interaction Programme of Junior Grade IPS & MPS Officers held at DGP's Conference Room, Meghalaya on 27/9/2019
Workshop on Meghalaya Residents Safety & Security Act, 2016 held at Conference Hall, PHQ
A meeting with Shri. V. S. K. Kaumudi, IPS, Director General, BPR&D at DGP's Conference Hall, Meghalaya on 20/9/2019 discussing various issues pertaining to Forensic Science Labaratory, Police Training School etc.
Meghalaya Fire & Emergency Services showcased and demonstrated the different safety and rescue equipments of the Organization during the visit of DGP, Meghalaya accompanied by DIG(A/F&ES), Meghalaya, Shillong at Mawlai F&ES Sub Station on 3/9/2019.
Teachers Day celebrated at MPPS School, PTS, Mawroh; The Chief Patron of Meghalaya Police Public School, Shri. R. Chandranathan, IPS, DGP Meghalaya, attended the event as the Chief Guest.
Meeting between Senior Police Officers and HYC members at PHQ on 3rd Sep. 2019 to discuss various issues pertaining to the mechanism adopted to check influx and other matters related which may arise due to the release of NRC final list by Assam Govt.
Two numbers of UXOs (Un Exploded Ordinance), probably of World War –II era weighting around 10 (Ten) Kgs. each recovered at Mawpat area under East Khasi Hills, District were disposed off successfully on 25th & 31st July, 2019.
Based on reliable inputs, the ANTF team of East Khasi Hills and Police of Mawlai PS were able to intercept one Maruti Swift Dzire and recovered Heroin weighing 109.97 gm. Two accused have been booked under Section 21(b) NDPS Act.
A Training Programme on Social Media & Fake News for all Nodal Police Officers of the respective District/Unit/Organization was held at Meghalaya DGP's Conference Hall on 27th August, 2019.
A 3 (Three) days training programme for Tourist Police Personnel under Tourist Police Scheme started today w.e.f 26th August to 28th August at Police Training School, Meghalaya, Shillong.
