PHOTOGRAPHIC SECTION

The Photographic Section is expected to render assistance to the Police by taking photographs of questioned documents and also in criminal investigation work and detection of finger prints.

The staff of the Photographic Section will take photographs of scenes of crime or accidents and of chance prints whenever required. In taking photographs of the chance prints found at scenes of crime, it should be remembered that they should be photographed only when they are examined and found fit for being photographed by the finger print experts.
