Details of duty leading to the death of the Martyr - On 29.11.1987, he was detailed for conducting vice raid duty at Sohiong along with the staffs. During his duty hours, he found a Fete cum Mela where peoples were indulged in gambling and consuming liquor and were fighting among themselves. Suddenly some unidentified miscreants shoot at him with bow and arrows and as a result of which he died on the spot
