Details of duty leading to the death of the Martyr - On the night of 22.10.2001 while he was returning to his place of posting at Maheshkhola after escorting the accused person of a Baghmara PS Case, he was attacked by wild elephant on the way at Rongmin Chiring at a distance of 4/5 Km. from Mahadeo and the said constable instantaneously died at the spot.
