Details of duty leading to the death of the Martyr - On 14/06/2010, he was detailed for sentry duty at Tyllap OP under Sheila PS for guarding the apprehended Bangladeshi national who hit him on his neck with handcuff. As a result of which, he sustained grievous injuries on his person and died on the spot.
