Details of duty leading to the death of the Martyr - On 19/01/2001 at about 5:40 pm, while he along with other staff of Kenches Traces Beat House were on duty, some unidentified militants suspected to be H.N.L.C. entered into the Beat House and started firing indiscriminately with their sophisticated weapons at the Police personnel on duty. As a result of which he and UBC/1485, Sekh Usman died on the spot.
