Details of duty leading to the death of the Martyr - On 05.11.2013 morning He along with a police party were deputed to pickup one UTP from District Jail, Tura in connection with a Baghmara Women PS case, while proceeding towards Tura, on reaching at Kolapara, PO-Kapasipara they were ambushed by GNLA terrorist group by lobbing grenades and firing by sophisticated weapons. As a result of which all of them sustained bullet injuries and died on the spot.
