Details of duty leading to the death of the Martyr - On 06/07/1999, he was shot dead by suspected ANVC militants at Nengkhra Check Gate while conducting vehicle checking. The deceased officer was very daring and courageous and sacrificed his life by fighting militants till his last breadth.
