Details of duty leading to the death of the Martyr - On 09/01/2001, after performing guard duty at SBI, Mawsynram Branch, he went to visit his family at Pyndemsohsaw Village for some domestic affairs. On the same evening at around 7:30 pm, 3(three) unknown miscreants after killing (L) ABC/1051 L. Snaitang at Mawpdai village, went to his house but could not find him there. On returning, they met him on the way and shot him from a close range, as a result of which, he died on the spot.
