Details of duty leading to the death of the Martyr - On 27/03/2001 at around 10.30 PM while the Police party were on mobile patrolling duty, on entering Jaiaw Langsning, a group of militants suspected to be H.N.L.C, armed with sophisticated weapons ambushed the Police Mobile Party. As a result of which, he sustained bullet injuries on his person and succumbed to death.
