Details of duty leading to the death of the Martyr - On 25.01.2000 @ about 9:30 pm while the Police Personnel were on mobile duty at Mawlai Nonglum Sub Station, some unknown militants suspected to be H.N.L.C armed with sophisticated weapon ambushed the police party and started firing. As a result of which, the said constable Balkha G. Momin received bullet injuries and died on the spot while the other Police personnel narrowly escaped.
