Details of duty leading to the death of the Martyr - On 18th November, 2014 @ 12:30 Pm, he along with police party were proceeding to Siju in a 3 (three) vehicles to enhance the strength of Siju C.P. On reaching Siju Forest Reserve, the suspected GNLA militants detonated two powerful I.E.D after synchronizing the movement of last Police Van and opened indiscriminate fire on Police Convoy, as a result he was killed at the spot.
