- A woman lodged a complaint that on Sep 21, 2019, two individuals viz., (1) Smt. Akrisha Mylliempdah and (2) Estansing Jana Nongbet, cheated her by selling her a plot of land belonging to Forest Department, Meghalaya, at Laitkor, Nongdaneng, Shillong,
- On Apr 29, one unidentified miscreant broke into the residence of Shri Ajit Singh at Nongrimbah, Shillong and stole one gold ornament valued around Rs. 50,000/- and one mobile phone.
- One Member of VDP Nongmensong, Shillong, verbally reported that on Apr 25 at about 5 am, unidentified masked miscreants assaulted him at Lumshyiap, Shillong.
- On Apr 29, unknown miscreant(s) broke into the rented house of Shri Aman Rang at Umsohsun, Shillong and stole one TV set and one wrist watch.
- On Apr 29, BSF personnel of BOP Pyrdiwah intercepted one vehicle (AS-01GG-4557) at Dawki (WJH) and apprehended five suspected Bangladeshi nationals, viz., (1) Safigul Rahman Khan (26 yrs), (2) Hima Safiqul Khan (20 yrs) and three minors along with the driver of the vehicle viz., Ramjan Hussain Barbhuia (47 yrs) of Assam. However, the individuals claimed themselves to be the residents of Surat, Gujarat and stated that they were pushed back to Bangladesh from Sylhet border in May, 2025, and that they have entered into Indian Territory, illegally, with the intention to return to Surat, Gujarat.
- On (Apr 30) circa 12.45 am, Headman of Nongtyngur village (EKH) along with the residents of the area, produced one Bangladeshi national viz., Md. Hussain (32 yrs) at Pynursla PS (EKH). During enquiry, it transpired that the intruder was being chased by BSF; however, he managed to illegally crossed into Indian Territory, and is reportedly intending to travel to Mumbai, Maharashtra to work with his uncle.
- A suo-moto complaint was lodged that on Apr 29, acting on inputs and a video recording, Police apprehended three occupants of tourist taxi (ML-04D-2611) viz., (1) Chaniah Bhoi (22 yrs), (2) Kissme Dkhar (26 yrs) and (3) Pyniaid Phawa (23 yrs) for wrongfully restraining and extorting money from the truckers and also for threatening them at Madur (WJH), on Apr 28, 2026.
- Shri Chiranjeet Das lodged a complaint that on Apr 28 around 2 pm, unknown miscreant(s) stole one LPG cylinder and cash Rs. 4,000/- from his residence at Lower Babupara, Tura (WGH).
