11 May 2024 A resident of a locality under Madanrting PS, Shillong lodged a complaint that on May 4, he received a phone call from ‘Fedex’ informing him that his details are being used to send courier to Thailand and that he should report the matter to Mumbai Police and also forced him to deposit Rs. 1 lakh from his Bank account.
11 May 2024 Shri Shah Ejaz lodged a complaint that on the night of May 9, unknown miscreant(s) stole his motorcycle (ML-05AA-6729) from his residential compound at lower Lumparing, Jackson Trace Road, Shillong.
11 May 2024 Police received information that on May 11, around 4 am, two motorcycles (1) ML-05T-4893 belonging to Shri Larry Synrem and (2) ML-05Z-5871 belonging to Shri Jeff E Marie, were found stolen from Pohktieh, Nongthymmai, Shillong.
11 May 2024 Smt. B Wanswett lodged a complaint that her driver took her Bolero vehicle (ML-05AB-5861) without her permission since May 8, 2024 and failed to return the same. Further, the driver is ignoring her phone calls.
11 May 2024 A woman from Nongkseh Nongmadan, Upper Shillong lodged a complaint that on Apr 30, 2024, unidentified miscreant(s) assaulted her son at Nongkseh Block-VII, Upper Shillong. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was admitted at NEIGRIHMS.
11 May 2024 Shri Nobor Ali lodged a complaint that on May 8 between 12.30 am and 6 am, unknown miscreant(s) stole thirty bags of areca nuts from his store room at Nimaikata village (WGH).
11 May 2024 Shri Paul Roy Paske of Nakam Bazar, Tura (WGH) lodged a complaint that on May 4 around 8 pm, he found that unknown miscreant(s) stole the battery from his vehicle.
11 May 2024 Shri Augustine Ch Marak lodged a complaint that on the night of May 9, that unidentified miscreants attempted to steal diesel from a telecom tower at Rombachisakgre (WGH). However, the unidentified miscreants managed to escape leaving behind one mobile phone and one gallon.
