            I welcome you to the Meghalaya Police Website.

           The website contains information about Meghalaya Police and its Mission Statement.   The site contains an update on missing persons and vehicles, human trafficking cases and crime data. Tips on how the public can help in crime prevention form another essential feature of the site. We also have made an attempt to fulfill the expectations of the public and to guide them on relevant details about the FIR, legal provisions relating to arrest and safeguards against arbitrary arrest and citizens’ charter. One page has also been dedicated to the Right to Information Act.

                                       Our endeavour is to constantly reach out to the public to whom we are to render at all times.
